1964年設立の私立大学。セブ工科大学と合わせて現地の人たちに人気の大学。優秀な学部は法学と看護学だ。一方で海洋工学という大型船の操縦師や技師になるための勉強をすることができる、フィリピン特有の珍しいコースも提供している。また2015年には医学部コースも開校された。セブ工科大学と同様に、外国人の学生数は非常に少ないので現地に混ざって勉強したい人にオススメだ。
立地は学校や交通量が多いエリアに位置するので、治安は比較的良く、通いやすい。教室に空調は無い。

歴史

法律家を含んだ若い男性グループがCebu College of Commerce (CCC)と呼ばれる教育団体を設立した。そして1964年4月1日にわずかな入学生と共に学校はスタートした。その後、the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA)から正式に大学として認められ、慈善マントラとして”No tuition fee increase”(学費値上がり無し)を掲げている。現在では60,000人以上の学生を持つセブ最大規模の大学だ。
